Which password manager has been hacked?
Password manager LastPass has been hacked by cyber attackers who stole people's secrets. But that private information – which largely includes passwords for other websites, and so could be very powerful to hackers – is likely to remain impossible for users to access, the company claims.
Safest password managers in 2023:
Keeper – Most feature-rich security tool. NordPass – Super secure and easy to use. RoboForm – Time-tested security features.
LastPass has a doozy of an updated announcement about a recent data breach: the company — which promises to keep all your passwords in one, secure place — is now saying that hackers were able to “copy a backup of customer vault data,” meaning they theoretically now have access to all those passwords if they can crack ...
Information stolen during two data breaches includes contact details, company and customer names and IP addresses. The data breaches LastPass suffered in August and November 2022 resulted in confidential customer information being compromised.
They also discovered that Keeper, Dashlane, and 1Password don't limit the number of login attempts while entering the master password, making it easier for hackers to perform brute-force attacks.

Keep in mind that Google-stored passwords are only as secure as the devices you're using. If your device has been corrupted by malware, there's a chance your master password (and by extension all of your passwords) could be pilfered.
